Alcohol Inks Art Workshop

Unleash your creativity with Alcohol Inks Workshop at Beaches Sandbox on June 29th, 2023. In this 2-hour session, led by the talented artist Rea Kelly, you'll dive into the mesmerizing world of alcohol-based inks, exploring their behaviour on paper through pouring, painting, and spraying techniques. Discover the magic of reactivating the inks with markers and alcohol, witnessing their captivating movement and flow on synthetic paper. Starting with smaller pieces to understand their unique personality, you'll progress to larger artworks, working on up to 5 papers. All materials, including gloves, aprons, inks, papers, brushes, markers, spray bottles, custom mixed colours, and straws, will be provided. No prior art experience is necessary, and the workshop is suitable for ages 10+. Get ready for a ton of fun and artistic exploration!
