BEACHES SANDBOX

Beaches Sandbox is a vibrant and modern 13,000 square foot community centre welcoming people of all ages and abilities to come together and take part in fun, creative indoor activities and inspiring programs. The high quality programs hosted at the centre cover music, the arts, cooking, coding, life skills and health and wellness.

Our hope is that the centre offers a safe and inclusive environment, where no one will feel excluded from participation purely because of background, financial means or disability and that able-bodied and less able-bodied can enjoy the facilities equally.

Kids, teens, families and seniors - come Create, Connect and Have Fun with us all at the Beaches Sandbox!

Land Acknowledgement

At Beaches Sandbox we acknowledge that the land we stand on today is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.

This acknowledgment is only a first step in honouring the land on which we operate and is only meaningful when combined with accountable and informed action.
