  • Assist participants in programming activities, working closely with program instructors to assist with activities

  • Greet parents and participants that arrive for programs at the center

  • Help center staff during events that will be held at the center. Helping to set up and take down

  • Help direct participants to the correct studios to attend their classes/ workshops 

  • Assisting program instructors to run classes. 

  • Being a role model for children and youth coming into the center, by modeling good behavior


  • Learn new skills

  • Obtain your Ontario high school credit hours

  • Experience both personal and professional development

  • Build a network of friends and professional contacts

  • Be recognized and appreciated for your contribution

  • Experience the satisfaction of giving back to your community


  • Must be already trained in CPR C and First Aid. If not already trained must be willing to be trained in CPR C and First Aid

  • Must be between the ages of 14-18 years old, still currently enrolled in high school

  • Must be respectful and polite

  • Must act professional and be reliable

  • Must comply with policies and procedures of the centre

  • Will take direction and follow instructions given by Beaches Sandbox management 

  • Must be punctual, must show up to shifts on time and give plenty of notice if you are unable to make a shift
