Mindful Motion enhances the joy of moving with breath, intention and fluidity. Gentle, flowing movements offer benefits similar to yoga, dance and tai chi, as arcs, spirals and figure-eight movements integrate breathing, motion and awareness. Performed seated on a chair, Mindful Motion articulates the spine, and contributes to supporting the many health benefits of dynamic alignment. Mindful Motion is enjoyable, uplifting, and easily adaptable.

Mindful Motion is led by Beach resident Carol Anderson, a movement educator and dance artist who has delighted in sharing and teaching motion in community, educational and professional settings for more than fifty years, and is now devoted to working with older movers.

Please dress for comfort in moving, bring your water bottle, and wear socks or bare feet.
