Join us for a warm and festive afternoon celebrating the holiday season with our senior community at Beaches Sandbox.


We begin the event with a joyful Seniors' Holiday Concert from 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm, featuring performances by our Seniors’ Ukulele Class and our Adult & Seniors Music Makers class. Enjoy familiar tunes, seasonal favourites, and the wonderful musical talents of our participants.


Following the concert, we invite you to a cozy and delicious Holiday Dinner from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to share a meal, connect with friends, and celebrate the season together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.


2:15 pm – 2:30 pm: Doors Open for Holiday Concert by the Beaches Sandbox Seniors’ Ukulele class and Adult & Seniors’ Music Makers class. (3rd Floor North Studio)


2:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Concert (3rd Floor North Studio)


3:30 pm – 5:30 pm: Seniors’ Holiday Dinner (Lee & Queen Studios)

Sharon is enjoying retirement from a long career in health care. For fun she likes to play bridge, ride her bicycle, go looking for birds, and ride the neighbourhood on her motor-scooter. She supports the local live music scene. Playing the ukulele and singing are also favourite past times.

This is a free event. If you have registered but are unable to attend, please let us know and we will open your spot to someone else. 

Activities For All!

Beaches Sandbox offers a wide variety of high-quality programming. Our goal is for everyone to be able to participate in these programs, regardless of their financial status. The Beaches Sandbox Financial Assistance Program is put in place to allow those who otherwise could not afford to participate, access to all programs offered at the centre.
