Join us weekly for Adult and Seniors Crochet Club at Beaches Sandbox, led by facilitator Rachel Halpern.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crocheter, Rachel will guide you through the crochet world with patience and expertise. Bring your favourite yarn and hooks if you have them, or use ours, sip on some tea, and enjoy the company of fellow crochet enthusiasts as you work on your projects and crochet your heart away in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Rachel Halpern, Facilitator
Rachel Halpern is a woman of many hats: from STEM and art to teaching, music, pretty lights, poetry, and chess—she does it all!
Her eclectic mix of backgrounds in life sciences, interaction design, math/science tutoring, summer camp, art instructing, performance, and Autism-centred community programming continuously inform her practice, no matter the discipline.
Cancellation Policy
Program/class registration is non-refundable. However, if you cancel 24 hours or more prior to the start of your class a household credit will be added to your account. Credits will not be issued for missed classes without prior communication.

Beaches Sandbox offers a wide variety of high-quality programming. Our goal is for everyone to be able to participate in these programs, regardless of their financial status. The Beaches Sandbox Financial Assistance Program is put in place to allow those who otherwise could not afford to participate, access to all programs offered at the centre.
