Mural Routes is pleased to present the latest series in of mosaic workshops for seniors, in
partnership with Beaches Sandbox and with funding in part by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
For this program participants will work in person at the Beaches Sandbox with experienced mosaic mural artist Cristina Delago to create one of a kind mosaic art pieces. In this program, participants develop mural-making skills by working on a small mosaic keepsake for themselves as well as a mosaic panel to contribute to a large community mural project, which will be installed indoors in the community space.
This is a free 5-week program, pre-registration is required. Participants commit to two classes per week (10 classes total) that are 2.5 hours in length.
Cristina Delago, Facilitator
Cristina’ Delago's passion for teaching and community art work brought her to lead many workshops at venues such as the ROM, Avenue Arts School, Mural Routes, Vibe, StreetArt, EEA. In the past 15 years Cristina was awarded to create and lead many public mosaic art murals, mostly in Toronto. She is a passionate educator, artist and community builder with a vision to leave a better and more beautiful world behind than what she lived in.
Cancellation Policy
Program/class registration is non-refundable. However, if you cancel 24 hours or more prior to the start of your class a household credit will be added to your account. Credits will not be issued for missed classes without prior communication.
