On June 12, we came together to celebrate Filipino Independence Day at Beaches Sandbox!
We came together to take part in arts and crafts inspired by Filipino culture, including Philippine flag handprint art and colouring sheets courtesy of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation, you can download them from the link below to enjoy at home!
We also enjoyed delicious Filipino food prepared by Lakay Kusina, and were honoured by a visit from Mario C. Tani, Trade Commissioner from the Philippine Consulate General Toronto.
It was a joyful morning of creativity, connection, and community—and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us to mark this special day.
